Found in 2005, the Bird Tour China is one of the earliest birding tour operator in China, and is still the most active bird and mammal tours company. We have a long term cooperation with many international birding and mammal watching companies.

Kevin Zhong has been actively working as a birding guide throughout China since 2005. He earned a good reputation with his professional birding skills and attitude. Meanwhile he has a tight network with the local birders and guides, so that he can always have the latest bird and mammal information. Kevin has traveled and guided Chinese birders to Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Kenya, Ethiopia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Phillipines, Malyasia, Sri-lanka, U.S, etc. He has an exceptional understanding of the natural world. As a National Geographic Explorer in China, He is specialized in wildlife photographing as well.
Steve An is our birding expert in Eastern China, Born in Gansu province in northwest China, Steven studied in Jiangxi province where he graduated as an International Tour Guide. In that role he guided numerous birding tours throughout China since 2008. His gentle and kind personality, fluent English, bird finding and identification skills bring him an excellent reputation.
Elan is an up and coming talent in the China guide community, having already seen more than 700 species of birds domestically, and more than 1500 species worldwide. Elan started birding in 2019, but has quickly become well-known among clients for his incredible field skills, and pleasant service-oriented personality.
Elan hails from Yichun, Jiangxi Province and graduated in 2022 from Nanchang University with a degree in clinical medicine. He has experience guiding in Indonesia, East Africa and throughout China. He enjoys improving his fluency in English
