5 Days Monotypic Family Birding – Przewalski's Rosefinch & Ibisbill
For birders chasing ticks of these monotypic families, Przewalski's Rosefinch is an endemic species found exclusively in the highlands of western China. Paired with the Ibisbill, the opportunity to find representatives of two such monotypic families on one short trip makes this an exceptionally rewarding expedition.
Beyond these two targets, the region hosts many other highly sought-after species, further elevating the value of this trip.
Monotypic Family Birding – Przewalski's Rosefinch & Ibisbill
Day 1: Arrival in Yushu
Upon your arrival in Yushu, subject to available time, we will visit the sites for Przewalski's Rosefinch and Ibisbill, located a short distance from the airport.
Days 2–3: Yushu & Surrounding Areas
If we fail to locate the two target species on Day 1, we will continue searching for them (we will persist until sightings are confirmed). Once we connect with these birds, we will explore other avian species across Yushu and Nangqian.

Day 5: Return transfer to Yushu
Transfer back to Yushu in good time for late evening flights. Alternatively, overnight in Yushu for departures the following day.
