I went with Bird Tour China on a Yunnan Birding private quest to try to see the specialties of this region. Lucky I was to contact them. My bird guide - Kevin Zhong knew all the birds, calls and places where to see them. As you might know, some of these forest dwellings, laughingthrushes, pittas, partridges and so on, are among the most difficult birds to see. The trip went also very smooth with little as possible time lost to travel and other logistic nuisances. It was a great success. Our trip to China has been a most fantastic one !! Thanks to Kevin Zhong's dedication, knowledge and patience, we recorded at least 334 species of birds of which 153 were personal lifers. Some of them will be forever unforgettable. All the untouched forests are magnificent in Sichuan!

I just wanted to say that the trip was Excellent! Our bird guide (Kevin) was friendly and his communication skills and bird knowledge were all good. And the driver was also a sharp eye birder, very professional team! We first went birding with Kevin Zhong more than 2 years ago. It was the first time I had met him and we went to Yunnan province. My reason to go there was for the Hume's Phesant and the White-speckled Laughingthrush. We got both plus many other birds as well.
